Moxy Hotels, Cork. CGIs Bold Design and Local Flair.

Meeting room CGI

We are delighted to share the interior CGIs we created for the newly opened Moxy Hotels Cork, developed in collaboration with the talented design team at Meitheal Architects.

Located on Camden Quay, this vibrant hotel combines bold, modern interiors with playful, social spaces that reflect the energy of Cork’s cultural heritage.

Our renders focused on capturing the unique design details within the hotel's 153 stylish guestrooms and its lively communal areas, including the iconic Bar Moxy. Each CGI brought to life the interactive, tech-savvy environment, showcasing how the interiors foster a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests.

Working alongside Meitheal Architects, we aimed to visualize the spaces that embody both Moxy's signature playful vibe and the essence of Cork's dynamic spirit. We’re proud to have contributed to a project that seamlessly merges modern design with the city’s rich history.

Flamingo in CGI: A Playful, Signature Touch

The bold, playful design of Moxy Hotels Cork is beautifully brought to life through CGI. One standout feature is a striking pink flamingo sculpture in the entrance area—a whimsical, unexpected addition that epitomizes Moxy’s distinctive, irreverent style. Behind it, colourful wall art from the meeting room adds vibrancy, while the flamingo itself sets the tone for the dynamic, lively atmosphere that guests have come to expect from Moxy.

In this CGI rendering, we also introduced subtle local elements that reflect Cork’s charm. For instance, a cup of Barry’s Tea, Cork’s iconic brew, sits proudly on a small side table, reinforcing the hotel’s connection to local culture. Another playful nod to the city is the inclusion of "101 Reasons Why Cork is Better than Dublin", further enriching the visual narrative and celebrating Cork’s proud spirit.

While these elements add a personal touch to the visuals, it's important to note that they’re part of the CGI design and may not be present in the physical space. However, they showcase how local references blend seamlessly with Moxy’s modern, bold aesthetic.

Local Culture Meets Contemporary Style

Our CGIs don’t just highlight Moxy’s modern interiors—they also emphasize the incorporation of local elements, blending Cork’s rich cultural heritage with the hotel’s youthful energy. This combination creates a sense of place, making Moxy Hotels Cork a unique and memorable destination for visitors.

In one of our CGI images, we included cultural references like a Cork City Gaol sign, a playful “Greetings from Cork” postcard, the classic Irish phrase “What’s the Craic?”, and a nod to the Crawford Art Gallery. These elements highlight Cork’s history, art, and lively spirit, perfectly blending local culture with Moxy’s energetic, modern style.

We are proud to have played a role in bringing this project to life, creating visualizations that celebrate the intersection of bold design, local culture, and the vibrant energy that defines Moxy Hotels.
